Make Gift Giving Hassle-Free with GC Regalo!

Image
As much as I love receiving gifts from family and friends, I also love giving away gifts to them. I get excited when I think of how they would react when they finally unwrap my precious gift. They would either laugh, cry, smile or tease me for it. In the end, I get that loving feeling when they appreciate my gift. I don't say I am a gift guru myself, besides we don't have GIFT GIVING CLASS 101 in college but I still get amused as I watch the salesperson wrap my gift in one minute. I say, perhaps over the years I have learned the knack on giving gifts for special occasions like birthdays, anniversary, Christmas and even on ordinary days when you just want to send sweet nothings to someone special. How? Okay, let me spill the beans...
FOOL-PROOF GIFT GIVING IDEAS FOR ALL OCCASIONS:

1) Know their likes or needs
If only we could sneak into Santa's mailbox it would be easier to know what your receiver would like. What does he/she likes for Christmas or for his next bir…

SM Moments Throughout The Years #FamFirstAtSM

My kids, my family are my top priorities. They are the primary reason why I work extra hard and stay up late at night to earn a bit more. This way, I could provide their growing needs. Their happiness are my happiness and my sacrifices are for their convenience. Pag masaya sila, masaya na rin ako. What makes them really happy is when I finally tell them, "Pupunta tayo sa SM bukas!" You should see the look on their faces, a mixture of surprise and excitement. It's something that I would love to see everyday. Then, my kids would sleep early the night before and wake up early the next day with eagerness. They'd finish their plate, take a bath and wear their best clothes. We'd go to the terminal and wait patiently for the van to leave (which usually takes an hour). How I wish the nearest SM is not 2 hours (utmost) away from us.
SM Supermalls has always been a part of my summer ever since I had my kids. When summer approaches, I wish I have gcs to spend for them so …

My Mother's Day Story #NationalSuperMomsDay

I was pregnant with my daughter (my bunso) when I started working as a freelance writer. I was 21 years old back then. I wanted to help my husband in saving money for my labor and hospital expenses. My husband doesn't earn much as a painter for a construction company thus I wanted to help him badly. I never told my client that I was pregnant because I was afraid that she would reject me once she discovered. Nine months later, she was so surprised when I revealed that I gave birth. I wasn't able to finish my remaining tasks and haven't answered her emails for a week. Still she decided to keep me. I continued working a month later. I knew I needed to earn extra cash for my kids' growing needs. I have my two year old son and my baby who constantly needs diaper, vitamins, and milk. It was very challenging and stressful. I work and take care of my kids at the same time. I take care of them in the day, catch some work when they were taking a nap or playing, and working some…

My parents grow a lot of fruit trees at their place. They have banana, jack fruit, guava, atis, avocado, and calamansi. Every weekends we drop them a visit. My son and I look forward to our favorite activity which is calamansi-picking, then we make calamansi juice. My son loves fresh calamansi juice. It's very healthy! However, I worry about letting my son stay outdoors for hours because of dengue-carrying mosquitoes. I was once bitten by an infected mosquito in 2013. I had Chikungunya right after getting bitten by a mosquito. It was my first time to get that viral disease. I had fever for several days. I remember I couldn't get up. My joints were swelling. I had joint pains here and there. My hubby had to carry me when I need to use the bathroom. I couldn't forget that particular experience in my life because it was very alarming.

According to WHO, Chikungunya is a viral disease which is transmitted to humans by infected mosquitoes...The name originates from a verb in th…
